Our client, a reputable company within the services industry, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance and business requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, proven experience managing the full accounting function , and a solid understanding of taxation . Candidates from the services, retail, FMCG, or similar high-volume commercial environments will be particularly well suited to this role. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the full accounting function Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage month-end and year-end close processes Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and financial records Prepare statutory returns and assist with tax compliance requirements Manage VAT, income tax, and other taxation-related matters Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualified CA(SA) Proven experience managing the full accounting function Strong taxation knowledge and practical tax exposure Immediately available or available on short notice Experience within the Services, Retail, FMCG, or related industries Apply now!
