About the role:
The Security Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of all physical security, electronic security, and risk management programs within the organization. The role ensures the protection of people, assets, information, facilities, and operations while maintaining compliance with corporate security standards, client requirements, and applicable legislation. Support and guide the teams within the Middle East & Africa region.
What will you bring:
- 5-10 years of progressive security management experience.
- Experience managing physical security systems including CCTV, Access Control, and IDS.
- Experience conducting investigations and security risk assessments.
- Experience managing security vendors and guarding contracts.
- Experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, industrial, telecommunications, or facilities management environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Management, or related field.
- Professional security certification preferred:
- CPP (Certified Protection Professional)
Security Operations Management:
- Manage day-to-day security operations.
- Ensure effective operation of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security technologies.
- Monitor security performance through audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. (Including MEA)
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks affecting personnel, assets, and business operations.
- Develop corrective action plans for identified security weaknesses.
- Maintain security risk registers and tracking mechanisms.
- Lead security incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
Physical Security:
- Oversee guarding services and contract security providers.
- Ensure perimeter protections, visitor management, key control, and access control measures are effective.
- Conduct routine assessments
- Ensure emergency exits, security barriers, and life safety interfaces remain compliant.
Security Systems Management:
- Manage CCTV, Access Control, IDS, Visitor Management Systems, and alarm monitoring platforms.
- Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and testing of security systems.
- Ensure system user access reviews are conducted regularly.
- Maintain system documentation, licenses, and asset inventories.
Incident and Crisis Management:
- Lead the response to security incidents, emergencies, and business disruptions.
- Coordinate investigations involving theft, fraud, workplace violence, or security breaches.
- Prepare incident reports and executive summaries.
- Support crisis management and business continuity planning.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with company security standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Support audits conducted by clients, regulators, and internal governance teams.
- Monitor compliance with information security and physical security requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary security contact.
- Build relationships with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and security service providers.
- Support client security reviews and governance meetings.
Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs.
- Conduct emergency drills and security exercises.
- Train employees on incident reporting, access control procedures, and emergency response protocols.
- Promote a strong security culture
Budget and Vendor Management:
- Manage security budgets and expenditure.
- Prepare business cases for security improvements and investments.
- Oversee security vendors and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate and procure security technologies and services.
