Sales Representative – Industrial Technology

POSITION INFO:
Our client is recruiting for three Sales Representative opportunities. There is one position in Cape Town, Western Cape, serving the food and beverage industry; one in Johannesburg, Gauteng, also serving the food and beverage industry; and one in Johannesburg, Gauteng, serving the mining industry. The roles focus on industrial automation, instrumentation, networking, communication and connectivity solutions used in manufacturing, food-processing, mining and processing operations. You will develop business, identify customer needs, present suitable solutions and build relationships with engineers, system integrators, plant managers, maintenance teams and other technical decision-makers. Education: A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or Automation is preferred. A trade-tested Electrician qualification will also be considered. Job Experience & Skills Required: Experience in technical sales or business development within manufacturing, food and beverage production, mining or another industrial environment is required. Exposure to industrial automation, instrumentation, industrial networking, industrial Ethernet, programmable logic controllers or supervisory control and data acquisition systems will be valuable.
