Job Purpose
We are looking for a Sales Representatives with a strong background in the fire safety industry.
The successful candidates will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities and promoting fire safety products and services to commercial, industrial and other relevant clients.

POSITION INFO:
IMPORTANT INDUSTRY REQUIREMENT Previous sales experience within the Fire Safety / Fire Protection industry is essential. Candidates who do not have proven fire safety sales experience will not be considered suitable for this position. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fire safety and fire protection market. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals and market research. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Promote and sell fire safety products, equipment and related services. Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Conduct client meetings and site visits where required. Understand client fire safety requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to ensure effective conversion. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines. Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales updates. Develop long-term relationships with contractors, facilities managers, property managers, developers, consultants and other relevant stakeholders. Assist with account management and ensure a high standard of customer service. Keep up to date with industry developments, competitor activity and market opportunities. Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure client requirements are correctly communicated and delivered. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12. Proven sales experience within the Fire Safety / Fire Protection industry - essential. Strong understanding of fire safety products, systems and/or related services. Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close sales. Strong client relationship and account-management skills. Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset. Good administration and reporting skills. Computer literate. Valid driver's licence. Own reliable transport will be advantageous. Preferred Industry Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have previously sold products or services such as: Fire extinguishers Fire detection systems Fire alarm systems Fire suppression systems Sprinkler systems Hydrants and hose reels Fire protection equipment Fire servicing and maintenance contracts Fire compliance and related services Skills & Competencies Strong sales and business-development ability. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will already have an established understanding of the fire safety and fire protection sector , be comfortable selling technical products or services, and have a proven track record of developing new business. This is not an entry-level sales role. Previous Fire Safety / Fire Protection sales experience is a compulsory requirement. Location The company is based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng , and candidates should be based within reasonable travelling distance or be able to commute reliably.
