POSITION INFO:
Sales Progressor Take ownership of lead re-engagement, offer follow-up and CRM pipeline management, ensuring every lead and offer has a clear next step. Remote, South Africa | Remote | Monday to Friday, full-time UK business hours | R25,000-R28,000 per month ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a property buying and management company serving clients across the UK. The business supports homeowners who need to sell their property quickly and with certainty. Customers may be selling due to relocation, divorce, inheritance, financial difficulties, repossession or other life changes, including situations where the traditional property sale route is not working. THE ROLE: SALES PROGRESSOR The Sales Progressor will be responsible for keeping the acquisition pipeline clean and moving by re-engaging leads and deals that have not been reached, following up with customers who have received an offer, and ensuring CRM records remain accurate with clear next actions. This is a phone-based, process-driven role requiring regular customer follow-up and close coordination with the UK sales team. Building and maintaining trust with homeowners is an important part of the role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Contact leads that have not been reached by phone, email and SMS, following an agreed contact cadence. Qualify whether leads remain interested and pass warm leads to the sales team with clear notes. Close out inactive leads and record the reason in the CRM. Follow up with sellers who have received an offer, confirming receipt and ensuring they understand the next steps. Answer routine questions about the process and refer questions regarding the offer itself to the sales team where required. Record customer responses and agreed next actions, escalating time-sensitive cases quickly. Handle sensitive conversations with empathy, particularly in difficult or time-pressured circumstances. Keep the CRM accurate and up to date, ensuring every lead and offer has a current status and next action. Identify and resolve stalled, duplicate or incomplete CRM records. Monitor pipeline health and report weekly on contact rates, response rates and pipeline status. Work closely with the UK sales team to ensure smooth handovers of leads and offer responses. Share feedback and ideas to improve the follow-up process and customer experience. ABOUT YOU At least 1 year of experience in a phone-based customer service, sales support or call centre role, ideally working with UK or international customers. Matric (National Senior Certificate), with English and Maths compulsory. Excellent spoken and written English and grammar. Confident using a CRM system, MS Office and a VoIP phone system. A quiet home workspace with a reliable internet connection. Confident making a high volume of outbound calls to UK homeowners and able to build rapport quickly. Persistent and positive when following up without being pushy or becoming discouraged by unanswered calls. Highly organised and able to manage a large number of leads and deals simultaneously without allowing follow-ups to slip. Detail-focused, maintaining accurate, complete and current CRM records. Empathetic and professional, remaining calm and reassuring when dealing with homeowners in stressful situations. A clear communicator who can produce concise notes and handovers that the sales team can act on immediately. Process-driven, able to follow agreed scripts, contact cadences and escalation rules while suggesting improvements. Able to build genuine rapport and trust while remaining professional, giving less confident homeowners additional time and reassurance while providing others with the information needed to move forward quickly. Desirable: Good understanding of the UK property, estate agency or conveyancing system. Desirable: Experience with lead nurturing or chasing unresponsive leads. Desirable: Familiarity with UK data protection rules, such as UK GDPR.
