SUMMARY:
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors for high-profile events hosted around the globe.

POSITION INFO:
Sales Development Representative (SDR) Identify and engage potential sponsors worldwide, building a qualified pipeline and securing meetings for global event sponsorship opportunities. Fully Remote, South Africa | Remote | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM UK time, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break | R25,000 per month, able to go higher for the right experience + £100 per closed deal once the first invoice is paid ABOUT OUR CLIENT The company hosts high-profile events around the globe and engages potential sponsors worldwide. The role focuses specifically on developing sponsorship opportunities within the health and safety sector through direct prospect engagement and qualified meeting generation. THE ROLE: SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors for high-profile events hosted around the globe. The primary objective is to build a pipeline of relevant prospective sponsors and secure qualified meetings for the salesperson responsible for presenting and closing sponsorship packages. This is a fully remote role requiring proactive prospecting, independent working, confident communication with senior prospects, and the ability to work UK hours. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively reach out to potential event sponsors worldwide via phone, email, and LinkedIn. Build and maintain a pipeline of relevant prospective sponsors within the health and safety sector. Book approximately 3 target meetings per day and 15 per week, with a minimum requirement of 10 meetings per week. Secure qualified meetings for the salesperson to present and close sponsorship packages. Leverage health and safety sector terminology and insights to hold confident, high-value conversations with senior prospects. Represent the brand professionally. Potentially attend global events in person. ABOUT YOU Excellent spoken and written communication skills with strong confidence speaking to prospective sponsors. Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Sound understanding of the health and safety sector and relevant terminology. Proactive, positive, can-do attitude. Confident in prospect communication. Able to work remotely during UK hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK time. Experience in event sponsorship sales or a health and safety background is ideal. An established LinkedIn network of health and safety professionals is a strong advantage.
