Sales Clerk

Hinterland is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Sales Clerk to support daily retail operations by delivering excellent service and driving direct sales within the branch.

Responsibilities:

• Add value to customers by improving access to products and services and providing on-site support to increase sales and strengthen customer relationships.
• Market products and services to targeted customers.
• Ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
• Provide after-sales service and support to clients and customers.
• Liaise with the Irrigation Design and Procurement departments to ensure effective service delivery.
• Communicate market trends and customer needs to relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a customer database and ensure accurate administrative recordkeeping.

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate 
• Minimum 3 years experience in a direct sales environment
• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail
