POSITION INFO:
Sales /Bid Manager Experience: 4-5 Years Internal Sales/similar experience in ICT Industry Location: Cape Town, South Africa Baraka IT Solutions is looking for an experienced and proactive Internal Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the ICT industry, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to manage sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation and order processing. Minimum Requirements 4-5 years'' experience in an Internal Sales or similar sales role , preferably within the ICT industry. Experience in formulating and managing customer quotations and proposals . Experience dealing with ICT distributors, vendors/OEMs and customers . Good understanding of ICT products and solutions, including hardware, software, licensing and related services. Experience obtaining pricing, managing RFQs and following up on outstanding quotations. Ability to manage multiple customer requests and opportunities simultaneously. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as within a sales and technical team. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer enquiries and requests for quotations. Prepare accurate and professional quotations. Source pricing and availability from distributors and OEM partners. Liaise with customers, account managers, technical teams and suppliers. Follow up on quotations and outstanding sales opportunities. Process and track customer orders. Maintain accurate sales and customer information. Assist with vendor registrations, deal registrations and pricing requests where required. Support the sales and tender teams with pricing, product information and supporting documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and technology partners.
