Our client is looking for a Safety Coordinator in the Transport and Logistics Industry.
This position will be based in Woodmead, in Johannesburg North. 
We are looking for your work experience in the Logistics Industry.
Must have own vehicle and valid drivers license.
 
Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Matric and relevant Safety Diploma
• Minimum of 5 years as a Safety Coordinator in Transport and Logistics
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership role
• Computer literate and Advanced Excel
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work within a highly demanding and pressurized environment.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day safety operations. Management and coordinate two Regional Safety Analysts. Manage Safety KPI performance and operational performance. Client DPO and VPO audits. Ensure compliance and manage incidents. Provide operational support. Ensure continuous improvement and sustainability. Enforce rules and procedures within safety. Administrative duties, including accountability and reporting to the Safety Head Office.
