POSITION INFO:
ROOFING SUPERVISOR - Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) - The Roofing Supervisor will oversee commercial and industrial roofing projects in Gqeberha . This is a limited-duration appointment for the completion of a project. The supervisor may be required to move between sites depending on the work programme and operational requirements. The appointment will end upon completion of the required roofing works unless extended or amended in writing by our Client.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ·         Proven experience supervising commercial/industrial roofing projects and labour teams. ·         Strong technical knowledge of roofing installations, repairs, and waterproofing. ·         Ability to read roofing drawings and specifications and ensure quality workmanship. ·         Knowledge of working-at-height safety, fall protection, and site safety requirements. ·         Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. ·         Ability to coordinate teams, meet deadlines, and work across both sites in Gqeberha.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ·         Supervise roofing teams, labour allocation, and daily site activities. ·         Oversee roofing installations, repairs, and replacements to required standards. ·         Inspect workmanship, identify defects, and ensure quality control. ·         Enforce health and safety regulations, including working-at-height procedures and PPE. ·         Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, and other contractors. ·         Monitor project progress, manage deadlines, and report delays or material shortages. ·         Maintain daily site records and report safety, quality, and operational issues.   Salary: Market related, depending on experience Contract Type: Fixed-duration / Project-based appointment 👉 HOW TO APPLY:  1.      ONLINE APPLICATIONS RECEIVE PREFERENCE VIA DITTO JOBS; or 2.      VIA OUR WEBSITE - To apply, Search - Work Africa Job Seekers “ROOFING SUPERVISOR PE ; alternatively 3.      E-mail , use “ROOFSUPPE “as the Reference. 4.      Please deem application unsuccessful if no feedback received in 2 weeks.
