Restaurant Manager

SUMMARY:
A prestigious wine and hospitality estate in the Cape Winelands, Western Cape is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations. The Restaurant Manager needs to have a strong background in high-end A la Carte dining and deli operations, with a passion for guest satisfaction, operational excellence and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure efficient, seamless service delivery. Maintain exceptional standards of food, beverage and guest service. Lead, motivate and manage the restaurant team to achieve operational objectives. Ensure smooth and efficient operations during high-volume service periods. Monitor stock control, operational efficiency and compliance with health and safety standards. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to maintain service standards and achieve business objectives. Ensure consistent adherence to hospitality standards and operational procedures. Minimum Requirements & Skills SA citizen Matric / Grade 12 qualification. Relevant hospitality qualification. Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in high-end A la Carte dining and deli operations. Experience managing high-volume service environments. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. A guest-centric mindset and commitment to exceptional hospitality. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Must be well presented and professional . Must reside in the Cape Winelands. Own reliable transport.
