Release Train Engineer – Merchant Delivery

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecom Networks sector is seeking a Release Train Engineer – Merchant Delivery on a contract duration of 12 months.

POSITION INFO:
Core competencies, knowledge and experience Essential: Educated to degree level in STEM or equivalent working experience. Proven track record for successful delivery of products and working cross-functionally with business and IT Contagious passion for, and commitment to, driving mobile money growth and innovation. Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills to support work in reactive and proactive environments. Strong understanding of local and global payment capabilities and technologies Commit to understand the end to end solution and system at high level with all relevant use cases of system which is under RTE Ability to demonstrate and present systems/software managed by RTE in order to provide suggestion for optimsation. Relevant certified Scrum Master qualification, for example, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent 3 - 5 years' experience as a Delivery Manager and / or RTE Agile Experience which includes international suppliers and / or markets - minimum 5 years Mobile Payment or Financial Payment Service Experience Experience delivering mobile applications, platform integrations and third-party technology solutions. Experience coordinating multiple delivery teams, external vendors and stakeholders across markets. Desirable SAFe 6.0 Certified Release Train Engineer ITIL Service Management qualification or experience Demonstrable working knowledge and competence using JIRA and Confluence Experience designing and implementing Agile or DevOps processes in SAFE or other frameworks. Experience delivering SoftPOS, POS devices or other solutions combining hardware and software. Experience with merchant platforms, business management tools, ERP or inventory integrations. Experience managing vendor delivery, contractual milestones and acceptance processes Skills Experience of software development lifecycle in complex, data driven initiatives is essential, especially within agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) Experienced in leading agile feature teams to deliver both new and continuous improvements to customers. Strong data analytical skills, able to identify solutions to complex problems. Design thought process Experience in vendor management, with specific focus on managing scope, resources and delivery. Business and customer focus, and an appreciation of customer led design and user experience techniques. Ability to work proactively within a demanding environment, being a key contributor to a fast-moving product development process. Able to communicate and influence with tact and diplomacy. Able to understand and explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders. Demonstrable numerical, analytical, and verbal skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience working within a multi-national team and serving customers from multiple countries would be of benefit.
