SUMMARY:
A Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is a specialized critical care professional who assists in minimally invasive, high-stress cardiovascular procedures (e.g., stents, angioplasty, EP studies).

Job Description • Clinical competence and strong quality patient care orientation • High energy levels and tolerance for stress • Good work management, planning and organising skills • Problem analysis\/solving skills and accurate record keeping • Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team • Detail orientated especially with regards to stock control • Liaison between patients, doctors and personnel • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels • Good team player Job Requirements • Matric • Professional Nursing Qualification • Certificate\/Diploma in ICU\/Critical Care is advantageous • Minimum of three years' post qualification experience • Cathlab experience is essential • Must currently be Registered with SANC • Own transport compulsory • Shift work compulsory • Work overtime and be on-call when required
