Key Responsibilities Inspect and classify reefers, identify defects, complete CIRs and prepare accurate repair estimates. Coordinate repairs, PTIs, washing and testing, ensuring reefers are compliant and ready for dispatch. Ensure reefers are correctly configured according to client requirements before release. Supervise and allocate tasks to reefer staff, manage rosters, leave and overtime, and ensure operational instructions are followed. Enforce PPE and safety procedures while maintaining a clean, safe and organised reefer bay. Liaise with clients, surveyors and internal departments regarding inspections, repairs, approvals and specific unit requirements. Ensure CIRs and related documentation are completed and submitted timeously, and provide management with regular updates on reefer operations and revenue.
