RAW MATERIALS STORES MANAGER
(PACKAGING & PLASTICS)
DURBAN - KZN 
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
 Have a BCOM degree: Supply Chain or Logistics or other relevant degree equivalent .
 Proven track record of warehouse management & performance excellence in the FMCG Supply Chain environment
 Well-versed in SAP, able to troubleshoot easily in the system
 Solid understanding of the plastics/packaging industry
 Computer Literacy (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT)

POSITION INFO:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS  Overall management of Raw Materials Stores (on-site and off-site).  Batch and FIFO maintenance of HDPE and all materials.  Management of GRV process  Identifying control risks and implementing measures to mitigate or eliminate them (e.g., stock counts, stock movements, processes, etc.).  Management of raw material shuttle truck.  Conducting weekly/monthly and yearly stock takes, including unplanned spot checks on stock.  Responsible for stock variances in raw materials and packaging  Incoming inspection checks for raw materials and packaging, ensuring specifications are met.  Administration of raw materials stock - transactions through SAP.  Ensuring that the raw materials are distributed on time and correctly to production departments.  Ensuring stock is handled correctly.  Maintenance & management of offsite equipment, ensuring due care is taken of assets - divider cleaner/floor cleaner and operating equipment  Ensuring internal & external customer satisfaction  Accountable for waste management  Ensuring correct documentation about invoices, receipts, and all other relevant documentation as per the ISO Standards (ISO 9001 & FSSC 22000)  Departmental budgeting & forecasting,  Driving departmental projects to close and ensure efficiency gains are realized.  Managing department budget  People management: continuous training & development of people, managing individual & team performance, compliance with HR & IR policies & procedures, adherence to training plans  Ensure a safe work environment with excellent housekeeping standards maintained
