POSITION INFO:
Employer Description A specialist shopfitting and commercial fit-out company providing turnkey solutions, including bespoke fixture manufacturing, joinery, project management and on-site installation for retail and commercial environments. Job Description Responsibilities: Develop and implement proactive procurement strategies that align with production schedules, client deadlines and budgetary objectives. Identify, assess and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best value in terms of quality, pricing, delivery and reliability. Monitor market trends, pricing movements and commodity-related risks, particularly within the timber, aluminum and steel industries. Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships and procurement networks to support high-volume projects and minimise supply chain delays. Operational Procurement Manage the end-to-end procurement of: Timber, board, laminates, and Perspex Aluminum extrusions and sheet metal Glass, paint, powder coating, adhesives, and chemicals Steel tube, steel sheet, and hardware (hinges, locks, runners, fasteners, etc.) Consumables and shopfitting components Ensure all purchase orders are accurately raised, tracked, and fulfilled within lead times. Collaborate with production planners, project managers, and installation teams to forecast material needs and manage demand. Monitor stock levels and work with warehouse staff to ensure critical item availability. Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related discipline Skills Proficiency in ERP systems such as Syspro, SAP, Sage , or equivalent
