Property Services Artisan

SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining and improving plant utilities and property infrastructure, ensuring reliable operations, effective maintenance, cost efficiency and compliance with engineering and safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on utilities, including water, compressed air, solar and electrical systems. Maintain property infrastructure, including lighting, lifts, DBs, switchgear, transformers, fire protection and air-conditioning systems. Monitor and analyse utilities consumption data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Conduct preventative maintenance and minimise equipment breakdowns. Manage contractors and ensure compliance with SHE requirements and service level agreements. Execute engineering projects through to completion and handover. Assist with troubleshooting, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Support equipment start-ups, shutdowns and standby call-outs. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety procedures and housekeeping requirements. Minimum Requirements: Trade Tested Electrician or Millwright ( essential ). Wiremans license (advantageous) Minimum 3 years experience in a building services environment. Wiremans Licence advantageous. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of transformers, switchgear, compressors, chillers, pumps and solar systems. Computer literate. Valid drivers licence. Strong problem-solving, organisational and interpersonal skills. Good command of English (spoken and written). Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently and in a team. Willingness to work overtime and participate in standby/call-out duties.
