Project Manager III

Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Project Manager III to join their team on a contract opportunity based in Sandton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating enterprise-wide projects to ensure that project goals and business objectives are achieved. The role will involve developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing timelines and identifying risks and contingency plans. Exposure to technical projects, particularly SaaS implementations, will be advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
What you will be doing: Plan, direct and coordinate activities across enterprise-wide projects. Develop detailed project plans aligned with business strategy and project objectives. Define project goals, strategies, deliverables and timelines. Coordinate project activities across multiple stakeholders and teams. Manage project resources and allocation of available resources. Develop and maintain project schedules. Identify, assess and manage project risks. Develop and implement appropriate contingency plans. Monitor project progress against agreed goals, timelines and deliverables. Coordinate project activities to ensure successful delivery. Engage and collaborate with relevant business and project stakeholders. Ensure project activities remain aligned with business requirements and strategy. Track project dependencies, risks and potential delivery issues. Support effective project governance and reporting. Manage project-related documentation and planning activities. Provide direction and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives. What we are looking for: Proven experience as a Project Manager managing complex projects. Experience planning and coordinating enterprise-wide projects . Strong project planning and scheduling experience. Experience managing project resources and allocations. Strong risk identification and management skills. Experience developing contingency plans. Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills. Ability to align project delivery with business strategy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple project activities and priorities. Experience working across business and technical teams. Exposure to technical projects will be advantageous.
