SUMMARY:
A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex energy and infrastructure projects within the built environment.
The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from project planning and stakeholder engagement through design, construction and quality assurance.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed project execution plans to guide successful delivery. Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate technical activities and achieve project objectives. Ensure compliance with design standards, legal and environmental requirements, and relevant permits. Identify and manage project risks. Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, communities, suppliers, contractors and project teams. Oversee quality control to ensure projects meet performance objectives and client requirements. Monitor project progress and report to senior management and stakeholders. Apply technical knowledge of energy and infrastructure, incorporating best practices into project delivery. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Professional Engineer ( PrEng ) registration. Experience managing complex energy and infrastructure projects. Renewable energy experience, including wind, solar or other sustainable power projects. A sound understanding of construction processes and project delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement, risk management and multidisciplinary coordination skills. Relevant certification or registration, such as Certified Energy Manager ( CEM ) or SACPCMP . A master's degree would be advantageous.
