Production Coordinator - Ladysmith

SUMMARY:
To coordinate and support all production planning, material requirements, manufacturing schedules and reporting activities to ensure the efficient production and delivery of insulated panels. The incumbent will act as the key liaison between Production, Sales, Procurement, Stores and Management to ensure customer orders are manufactured and delivered according to schedule while maintaining required stock levels and production efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or Certificate in Production Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field will be advantageous. Experience 3 to 5 years' experience in a production planning, production coordination, materials coordination or manufacturing environment. Experience within insulated panel manufacturing, cold room manufacturing, steel processing or related industries would be advantageous. Experience using ERP systems, preferably SYSPRO. Skills and Competencies Production planning and scheduling. Materials and inventory management. BOM management. ERP systems (SYSPRO advantageous). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail. Planning and organising. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
