SUMMARY:
A job opportunity is available within the FMCG sector for a Procurement Officer based in the Western Cape.

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will manage the buying process by placing and following up on orders, resolving supplier and account queries, and negotiating pricing and discounts. As a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for supplier selection, procurement compliance, cost savings and monthly reporting. Experience with procurement procedures, supplier evaluation, market pricing, compliance requirements and international procurement terms will be necessary to fulfilling your duties. To be considered, candidates should hold a relevant degree. This role also requires at least 5 years' experience in a fast-paced and high-pressure production environment. Strong negotiation and analytical skills, together with proven experience managing end-to-end purchasing of specialised materials, equipment and supplies will be essential to your success.
