Practice Manager | Healthcare | Permanent Lead the day-to-day performance of a multidisciplinary healthcare practice while improving efficiency, revenue and patient experience. This is an opportunity for an experienced healthcare practice manager to bring operational discipline, commercial awareness and people leadership to a growing practice environment. The Practice Manager will take ownership of the operational engine of the organisation, ensuring that workflows, patient flow, administrative standards and team performance are effectively managed. The role combines hands-on practice management with responsibility for medical billing, claims, revenue-cycle optimisation, credit control, governance and reporting. You will work across people, processes and systems, using platforms such as GoodX and Healthbridge or similar systems, together with business intelligence and strong Excel capability, to identify operational and revenue opportunities and drive measurable improvements. The client is a multidisciplinary healthcare organisation focused on delivering coordinated, professional patient care. The environment requires a commercially aware and operationally focused manager who can work confidently across healthcare administration, billing, people management, compliance and patient service. What You'll Do Coordinate the daily operations of a multidisciplinary healthcare organisation Optimise workflows, patient flow and operational standards Take ownership of medical billing and claims processing Manage ERA reconciliation, credit control and revenue-cycle optimisation Identify opportunities to improve revenue performance and reduce outstanding debtors Lead, roster, coach and support administrative and operational teams Manage staff scheduling and performance with accountability and professionalism Handle escalated patient concerns and support effective service recovery Drive continuous improvements in patient care and satisfaction Implement and monitor SOPs, policies, healthcare compliance and administrative controls Develop and maintain quality and compliance processes Use reporting, analytics and business intelligence to identify operational and financial problems Use GoodX and practice management systems to support effective decision-making Prepare and interpret information using Excel, Word and PowerPoint What You Bring Minimum 3 years' experience managing a multidisciplinary medical practice or similar healthcare environment Proven medical billing and claims-processing experience Experience with ERA and remittance management Experience with GoodX Desktop\/Web and Healthbridge or similar systems Strong understanding of revenue optimisation, credit control and debtors management Experience with staff rostering, scheduling and performance management Exposure to HR administration and people leadership Experience developing and implementing SOPs Understanding of healthcare compliance and quality processes Strong customer service and patient complaint-management experience Ability to manage service recovery professionally Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Strong practice management systems proficiency Ability to use reporting and data to identify issues and drive improvement What Success Looks Like Efficient daily practice operations and improved patient flow Consistent administrative and operational standards Accurate, well-managed billing and claims processes Improved revenue-cycle performance and effective credit control Clear accountability and effective rostering across teams Stronger team performance and professional staff management Patient concerns are resolved effectively, and service improvements are implemented SOPs, policies and compliance controls are consistently applied Practice data is actively used to identify problems and measure improvements Operational decisions are increasingly supported by accurate reporting and business intelligence
