Plant Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong chemical engineering background, practical plant operations knowledge and extensive experience in engineering design documentation and project execution.

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Plant Engineer to join an established engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support across plant operations, engineering projects, design activities and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong chemical engineering background, practical plant operations knowledge and extensive experience in engineering design documentation and project execution. Key Responsibilities Manage and support engineering projects from conceptual design through to implementation and commissioning. Provide engineering support to plant operations, ensuring optimal plant performance, reliability and efficiency. Develop, review and maintain engineering design documentation and technical specifications. Prepare and maintain plant operations documentation, procedures, standards and engineering reports. Coordinate engineering activities related to plant modifications, upgrades and improvements. Identify opportunities to improve plant processes, operational efficiency and equipment performance. Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable technical standards, specifications and safety requirements. Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and operational personnel. Assist with technical problem-solving, process optimisation and plant troubleshooting. Ensure engineering project documentation is accurate, complete and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum Requirements B.Eng. or B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering. Minimum 5 years' relevant engineering experience. Proven experience in engineering projects. Extensive experience in standard engineering design documentation. Strong experience in plant operations documentation. Good understanding of engineering principles, plant processes and operational requirements. Excellent technical reporting, documentation and communication skills. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Please send your cv to
