What You Will Do
- Collect blood and non-blood specimens according to established clinical standards and safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen handling, and documentation.
- Capture and manage patient information using digital systems.
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate administrative records.
- Deliver a professional, caring, and patient-centred experience.
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.
What you'll bring
Requirements
- You would need to have between 1 and 3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or similiar position in a pathology environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Sound computer literacy and confidence working with digital systems.
- A patient-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
Additional Requirements
- A valid South Afican driver's license: Code B
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Phlebotomy or Nursing.
- Current registration with the HPCSA or SANC as a Phlebotomy Technician or Registered Nurse .
