Personal Lines Underwriter Location: Fourways Job Type: Permanent Seniority Level: Mid Career (3 - 6 years experience) Duties and Responsibilities: New business quotations and policy alterations Policy development and issuing Review insurance applications for necessary information and accuracy Premium calculation Explain policy terms and conditions to clients and guide risk management Provide notifications of accounts in arrears to clients and follow up on payments Policy retentions Processing cancelation instructions from clients and insurers where retention is not possible Annual renewals and policy reviews Document management and record keeping Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of insurance processes Engage in continuous learning and development Adherence to company standard operating procedures and service level agreements Requirements: RE 5, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Class of Business - Personal Lines 3+ years' experience in Personal Lines Underwriting Must have broker experience About Us: We are a leading insurance company in the Gauteng region, looking for a skilled Personal Lines Underwriter to join our team in Fourways.
