Key performance areas/Core functions:
- Preparing and conducting lectures for Full-Time & Block students.
- Lecturing on the following at the undergraduate levels.
- Water Treatment I (WTR105C) (C3 BLOCK WEEKS) 12hrs/per 5 block weeks
- Water Treatment I (WTR105C) (C1 FULL TIME) 6hrs/per week
- Advanced presentation skills
- Proven ability in using teaching technology
- Setting and marking all assessments.
- Participating in departmental meetings and subject meetings.
- General administration, such as capturing test and assignment marks and uploading documents on Brightspace.
- Student consultation.
Minimum requirements:
- M Tech Water Care / Master of Applied Sciences (Water Science and Technology)
- At least 3 years of experience lecturing Water Treatment.
- Registration with the South Africa Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) will be an advantage.
