An established organisation is looking for a detail-oriented Ordering Clerk to join its team in Johannesburg East. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to processing and delivery, while working closely with customers, sales and internal departments. Duties & Responsibilities: Receive, review and process customer purchase orders Capture order details accurately onto the relevant system Monitor stock availability and liaise with internal departments Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery timelines Assist the sales team with pricing, product availability and order information Perform quality checks to ensure orders are accurate before dispatch Prepare invoices, packing slips and other relevant documentation Process customer returns and exchanges Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and customer queries Prepare reports on orders, sales and inventory as required Qualifications & Skills: Matric Previous experience in an ordering, sales administration or order processing role Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills Sage Evolution experience advantageous Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good organisational and multitasking abilities Strong problem-solving skills Customer-focused and professional approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented If you're organised, customer-focused and ready to take ownership of the order processing function, this could be the opportunity for you.
