An established and growing manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Operations \/ Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day operational and facility activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable quality, food safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production, warehousing, quality, procurement and external service providers to maintain operational continuity and drive ongoing improvements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the maintenance, repair and improvement of site infrastructure, utilities, equipment and other physical assets. Manage daily operations across production and warehouse environments, ensuring efficient workflows, resource utilisation and adherence to processes. Monitor operational performance and identify and resolve bottlenecks, downtime and inefficiencies. Utilise the organisation's ERP system to monitor maintenance activities, inventory movements, operational KPIs and related data. Implement and maintain occupational health and safety, food safety, quality and environmental programmes. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and corrective action processes to support a safe and compliant working environment. Oversee critical spare parts, facility supplies and site-related inventory, ensuring accurate records and reconciliation. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Lead, mentor and develop operations, maintenance and facilities personnel, promoting accountability and a strong safety culture. Manage external contractors and service providers, including maintenance, cleaning, security and facility-related services. Develop and manage operational and facility budgets, monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for cost control. Maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and coordinate relevant drills and readiness activities. Track and report on key operational and facility performance indicators, including downtime, maintenance, safety, corrective actions and inventory accuracy. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and perform other operational and facility-related duties as required. REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in operations and\/or facility management within a manufacturing environment. Experience within the food, beverage, nutraceutical or related manufacturing sector would be advantageous. Hands-on experience with CIN7 or a similar ERP \/ facility management system is essential. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety, food safety and relevant environmental requirements. Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing contractors and external service providers. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities. A proven ability to implement process improvements and work towards operational KPIs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
