OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN INTERN

12-Month Paid Internship Programme

Cubix is offering an exciting internship opportunity within a fast-paced, sales-driven contact centre specialising in Financial Services Provider (FSP) products.

Gain practical workplace experience while learning how operational planning, sales performance, resource management and supply chain processes contribute to the success of a financial services business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Supporting daily contact centre operations and sales campaign activities.

• Assisting with operational reporting, data capturing and performance tracking.

• Supporting workforce planning, scheduling and resource allocation.

• Monitoring operational productivity and maintaining accurate records.

• Assisting with procurement, supplier administration and stock control.

• Supporting the coordination of equipment and operational resources.

• Gaining exposure to FSP operational processes and compliance requirements.

• Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborating with Operations, Finance, IT, Facilities, HR and Compliance teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

A completed Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma from a recognised public tertiary institution in one of the following fields:

• Operations Management

• Supply Chain Management

• Logistics Management

• Commerce (BCom)

• Financial Management

• Finance

• Banking and Financial Services

• Financial Planning

• Risk Management

• Insurance

• Economics

• Or a closely related qualification within Commerce, Operations or Financial Services.

A relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• South African citizen.

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).

• Between the ages of 18 and 35.

• Currently unemployed.

• Not participating in another internship or learnership programme.

• No previous participation in a SETA-funded or Government-funded internship programme.

• Clear criminal and ITC records.

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

• Good attention to detail.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work with data and reports.

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

• A keen interest in Operations and the Financial Services industry.
