Monitoring Officer: Contract Management, Ref No. WCMD 93/2026

Minimum Requirements

• An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification) at NQF 6;
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a contract management or related working environment.

Key Performance Areas

• Monitor the establishment of services; Contract Monitoring; Process and Administer Claims;
• Financial Reporting; Managerial/Supervisory functions.

Competencies

• Implement legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; manage projects; implement operational management practices; develop, implement, monitor and review policies and operational processes; manage public service procedures, processes and systems; manage financial processes in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 1999, National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions and other applicable financial policies, prescripts, directives and collective agreements;
• Skills: perform numeracy and literacy functions; use computer systems effectively; communicate effectively in the required language;
• Other: compile reports; solve problems; communicate effectively; plan and organise activities; work effectively under pressure; manage projects; work irregular hours when required; meet tight deadlines.

Remuneration

• R 413 001- R 486 501 per annum (Salary Level 8).
