SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications. Build responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces using modern development frameworks. Develop and maintain application functionality using TypeScript and related technologies. Configure, build, and deploy Android applications using Capacitor. Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services. Assist with backend development, including API integration, authentication, data validation, and error handling. Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and build failures. Implement security best practices to ensure secure application development and data handling. Perform unit testing, debugging, optimisation, and ongoing application maintenance. Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Support application deployment, version management, and future enhancements. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic and Vue.js . Strong proficiency in TypeScript . Hands-on experience with Capacitor , including Android APK generation and deployment. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and responsive mobile design. Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and external services. Knowledge of backend development concepts, including: API design Authentication Data validation Error handling Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with: Android Studio Android SDK configuration Application permissions Signing certificates Release management Ability to troubleshoot device-specific issues, plugin conflicts, and deployment challenges. Experience using Git or other source-control tools. Knowledge of mobile security principles and secure API communication. Experience with testing, debugging, performance optimisation, and application support. Understanding of the complete mobile application development lifecycle. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advantageous Skills Experience with Node.js or NestJS . Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store . Knowledge of: Push notifications Biometric authentication Camera integration Geolocation services Offline data synchronisation Experience with automated build and deployment pipelines. Familiarity with application monitoring, analytics, and crash-reporting tools. Exposure to iOS application development using Ionic, Vue.js, and Capacitor. Minimum Qualifications Diploma or Degree in: Information Technology Computer Science Software Development Or a related field Equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Experience Requirements Minimum 3 years of software development experience . Practical experience in mobile application development. A portfolio showcasing Ionic, Vue.js, TypeScript, and Capacitor projects will be highly advantageous. Desired Personal Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
