SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Millwright to join their team in the Gauteng region

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: • Red Seal Trade Tested Millwright qualification. • South African citizenship. • Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. • Must reside in Gauteng or be willing to relocate to the region. • Willingness and availability for standby duties. • Willingness to undergo further training or studies Experience: • Minimum 3 years of factory experience. • Technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems relating to boilers. • Knowledge and understanding of PLCs and control systems. • Hands-on experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) \/ Variable Speed Drives (VSDs). • Ability to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance and breakdown response effectively. • Capability to perform site supervision duties. Knowledge & Skills: • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. • Proven ability to solve problems • Have a focused approach to mitigating risk • Good interpersonal skills to support working with a diversified team • Motivated by challenging circumstances • Be a self-starter and take initiative • Excellent time and project management skills • Good command of the English language (spoken, written, and read).
