A leading player in the water management and treatment sector is seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join their dynamic technical team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in maintaining and optimizing critical infrastructure within a specialized industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Execute planned maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repairs on complex water treatment equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical installations.

• System Optimization: Ensure the seamless operational efficiency of water reticulation systems, pumps, valves, filtration units, and related machinery.

• Installations & Commissioning: Assist with the installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical plant machinery.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Trade Test: Valid Millwright Trade Test certificate (Section 13 or Section 26D).

• Industry Experience:Essential proven experience in water treatment, water reticulation, or the broader water industry.

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and plant equipment servicing with SCADA and PLC experience highly beneficial.

• Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a technical team.
