Mid-Level On-Site Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
An established, leading IT and Telecommunications Managed Services Provider is seeking a dependable Mid-Level On-Site Support Engineer to be permanently based at a key client facility in Edenvale.

This role is ideal for a skilled IT professional looking for a dynamic environment supporting a predominantly Windows desktop and virtual server infrastructure while working alongside a global team of senior engineers.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end onsite technical support across Windows desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. Maintain Windows servers in a virtualized environment. Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN setups. Manage IP telephony systems, print services, and endpoint security (EDR, antivirus, patching). Maintain clear system documentation and escalate complex issues when necessary. Minimum Requirements 5-10 years' experience in IT support with strong on-site client exposure. In-depth technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking. Hands-on experience with switches, basic firewalls, VPNs, and mobile device management. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills. Microsoft or CompTIA (Network+, Security+) certifications are highly advantageous.
