Medical Sales Representative

Role Overview:
An established Medical Distribution Company with over 30 years in the market is seeking a dynamic, self-sufficient Sales Representative. The role involves a combination of product detailing and theatre-based work, requiring at least 50% of the time spent scrubbing into cases.

• Promote and sell the entire specialized product portfolio (including ENT, Neuro, and emerging portfolios like Pulmonology and Cardiothoracic) to achieve sales targets.
• Scrub in, assist, and provide technical support during live surgery cases.
• Detail products and build solid networks with Surgeons, Stock Controllers, Pharmacy Managers, and Theatre Staff.
• Work autonomously without micromanagement, taking full ownership of the isolated KZN territory.
• Complete regular sales reports, organize hospital staff training, and occasionally travel to other provinces to assist with theatre cases when required.

• 5 to 7 years of proven sales success in the Medical Device and Disposables field. Prior experience in the ENT and Neuro space is highly preferred.
• A completed tertiary qualification (B.A. or B.S. degree in a science or business-based subject is ideal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable operating in a high-pressure theatre environment.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s license and must own a reliable vehicle.
• High integrity, accountability, performance-driven, and a trustworthy team player who can work without direct supervision.
