Master Data Controller

POSITION INFO:
An established industrial and manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly accurate and results-driven Master Data Controller to join its Shared Services team in Springs. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, verifying, analysing and maintaining supplier, customer and third-party master data before capturing information into the ERP system. Key Responsibilities Capture, maintain and validate accurate master data within the relevant ERP system Review supplier, customer and third-party information to ensure completeness and compliance with internal requirements Conduct regular master data audits to identify discrepancies, duplicate records and outdated account information Maintain detailed audit logs of master data changes to support internal and external audit requirements Generate and analyse exception reports to identify data anomalies and potential control weaknesses Develop and implement corrective data clean-up plans to improve data quality and prevent recurring issues Process master data requests in line with internal Master Data Manuals and verification procedures Conduct required verification checks through Standard Bank, TransUnion and SARS Resolve master data queries within agreed service level agreements Ensure adherence to delegation of authority requirements, internal controls and statutory compliance standards Assist with reviewing and updating master data procedures in line with legislative, SARS and internal banking security requirements Job Experience and Skills Required Matric with Mathematics and Accounting - essential Minimum 10 years' working experience within a risk, compliance or data environment Relevant JDE and/or Syspro experience advantageous Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong understanding of data validation, data integrity and quality control processes Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion The Ideal Candidate A highly organised, analytical and results-driven professional with exceptional attention to detail.
