Our client is looking for a Marketing coordinator to join their growing team.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities Minimum Requirements Grade 12 \/ Matric At least 2 years' experience in marketing, sales, fundraising, social work or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong presentation skills and confidence speaking in front of groups Strong written and verbal communication abilities Strong sales and relationship-building skills Valid driver's licence Own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel throughout the Free State Computer literate with strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong administrative and organisational abilities A relevant post-school qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sales or a related field will be advantageous Previous experience within an NGO\/NPO or fundraising environment will be advantageous Key Responsibilities Liaise with various programmes and projects throughout the Free State Assist with the implementation of the organisation's Marketing and Fundraising Plan Support marketing, fundraising and promotional activities Prepare and deliver fundraising presentations to potential partners and stakeholders Coordinate and manage fundraising initiatives, including: Golf days Events Competitions Other fundraising projects Identify and develop new initiatives to enhance the organisation's image, relationships and fundraising opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with: Existing and potential donors Businesses and corporate partners Media Business associations Suppliers NPOs and community organisations Assist with identifying and securing potential fundraising opportunities and sponsorships Maintain positive relationships with existing stakeholders and partners Assist with media liaison and maintaining media relationships Ensure that the organisation's brand and corporate identity are consistently represented Provide general marketing, fundraising and administrative support as required Travel to various projects and activities throughout the Free State The ideal candidate will be: Energetic and self-motivated Confident and comfortable presenting to groups Target-driven and commercially minded Excellent at building and maintaining relationships Strong in sales and persuasion Well organised and administratively capable A strong communicator Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders Passionate about contributing to an organisation with a meaningful community impact Package & Benefits: Approximately R15,000 per month 13th cheque Pension fund contribution 20 days annual leave 3-month probation period Please note: The position requires regular travel within the Free State. A valid driver's licence and reliable own vehicle are therefore essential.
