Key Responsibility Areas:
- Manage and control the activities of the Graphic design section.
- Planning the branch activities, considering long and short-term goals, objectives, action plans, operating standards and performance standard set.
- Managing and controlling staff.
- Undertake performance assessment to measure performance and implement correctional steps if required.
- Ensures the operating policies and procedures are appropriate and are adhered to within the directorate.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of the municipal corporate identity.
- Monitor and provide advise or guidance on the correct use of corporate identity and branding manual both internally and externally.
- Determine, implement and manage projects.
- Prepares project plans with clearly defined assignment of tasks and responsibilities.
- Prepares capital and operating estimates for the section, approves and control projects related expenditure against budget allocation.

Essential Requirements:
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Graphic Design or any other related and relevant qualification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 4 years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at supervisory level.
Preferred Requirements:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Graphic Design or any other related and relevant qualification.
- 5 years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at supervisory level.
Special conditions:
- Required to work after hours, weekends and public holidays.
