Our client is looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Team Leader to supervise a small team of workers and ensure that work is completed efficiently and according to schedule. This is a hands-on coordination and team leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, visiting sites and making sure projects stay on track. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate a small team of workers • Transport the team to and from work sites as required • Liaise with clients on site • Monitor work progress and provide regular updates • Ensure work is completed according to agreed timeframes • Allocate daily tasks and keep the team focused and productive • Ensure that workers follow safety requirements • Assist with practical work and problem-solving where required • Report any issues or delays to management Requirements • Previous experience supervising or leading a small team • Experience in maintenance, electrical, solar, construction or a related environment would be advantageous • Good communication and client-interaction skills • Able to organise people and keep work on schedule • Practical, hands-on approach • Good understanding of workplace safety • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport • Must reside in or around Howick, Hilton or Pietermaritzburg 💰 Salary: R18,000 – R20,000 CTC per month If you are an experienced team leader who can take responsibility for a small team, interact confidently with clients and ensure that work gets done on time, we'd like to hear from you.
