Our client, an established company dedicated to excellence in freight and logistics management, is looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join their team in the Western Cape. This role offers a significant opportunity to manage critical logistical operations and contribute to seamless supply chain execution. Duties: Coordinate all logistical processes from point of loading through to final shipping destination Book and schedule supply chain services ensuring optimal options and adherence to client protocols Maintain and distribute accurate transport and shipping information for all stakeholders Confirm dispatches promptly to facilitate export and local documentation completion Monitor vessel and container movements, providing reports and resolving deviations Identify operational risks early and implement solutions to prevent disruptions Coordinate information flows with external service providers such as cold stores and off-site storage Collect and supply precise information for export clearance procedures Manage customer expectations, handle queries, and provide regular shipment updates Assist the Logistics Manager with investigating claims, compiling documentation, and coordinating submissions Support capturing and reporting of shipping costs Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain coordination Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and R Knowledge of shipping, supply chain processes, and export documentation Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with the following is advantageous: Cold storage management Freight insurance processes What We'll Give You: An engaging full-time on-site role with room for professional growth An opportunity to work within a reputable company committed to operational excellence A supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement If you are ready to elevate your career in logistics and thrive in a role that challenges and develops your skills, we encourage you to apply now.
