Our client in Paarl is seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to manage the delivery, setup, servicing, and removal of hygiene solutions at various events. You’ll coordinate teams, routes, stock, and on-site operations while acting as the key link between clients and staff.
 
With frequent travel and paid accommodation included, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move and working in dynamic environments.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS Valid Code B drivers' license (code C or EC an advantage) Availability to be on site for the full event (a few days or longer) with expenses covered by the company Commit to working during high season between October to April Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar field preferred Min 2 years' experience in logistics, fleet coordination or events Strong computer literacy Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight event deadlines Reliable, accountable, and customer-focused team player Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Practical, hands-on management style DUTIES Route planning and logistics Planning sanitation layouts and unit quantities based on event size and regulations Liaising with event organizers to accommodate changes and resolve issues quickly Coordination and management of drivers, vehicles, cleaning teams and equipment and all operational teams Stock: Manage stock availability as well as chemicals, consumables, spare parts etc.) Monitoring service quality during events and handling emergency call-outs Tracking logistics costs, fuel usage and operational efficiency Understanding and implementing of health, safety and hygiene regulations Asset management of fleet and equipment Leadership and team coordination Customer service orientation Cost control and efficiency improvement Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
