Our client, a well-established player in the industry with a focus on efficient fleet management, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Breakdown Clerk to support their team in Bloemfontein. Duties: Receive and record breakdown notifications from drivers and logistics personnel Coordinate roadside assistance, towing services, and emergency repairs for fleet vehicles Communicate with drivers, transport coordinators, workshops, and service providers regarding vehicle breakdowns Monitor vehicle locations, breakdown status, and repair progress to minimise transport delays Arrange alternative transport or vehicle allocation where necessary to ensure delivery schedules are maintained Keep accurate records of breakdown incidents, vehicle downtime, repair costs, and maintenance activities Update logistics and fleet management systems with relevant breakdown information Follow up with mechanics and service providers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently Inform management and relevant departments of breakdowns, delays, and schedule changes Assist with coordinating vehicle availability and managing operational disruptions Maintain and file breakdown reports, job cards, repair quotations, invoices, and supporting documentation Provide administrative support to logistics and fleet departments Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication and telephone etiquette Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent situations Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with the following: Administration Communication Data management What We'll Give You: Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience If you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and have a passion for operational support, we invite you to apply and become a vital part of a team dedicated to excellence in fleet management.
