Kitting Coordinator

SUMMARY:

The Kitting Coordinator must ensure that all kitting operations meet customer specifications, production schedules and operational requirements while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, minimise errors and maximise departmental efficiency.
The role is responsible for planning and coordinating daily kitting activities, managing inventory requirements, supervising and developing the kitting team, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The role ensures that all kits are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines.

POSITION INFO:
Location: Cape Town (Killarney Gardens) Job Title: Kitting Coordinator MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 / Matric. Previous warehouse, packing, picking, or kitting experience will be advantageous. Basic computer literacy. Clear Crim Record. Good understanding of stock handling and warehouse operations. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Review kitting briefs and ensure all required stock and packaging materials are available. Assemble and pack kits according to client specifications, ensuring correct quantities, items, and labels. Check completed kits for accuracy and quality before dispatch. Communicate stock shortages, discrepancies, and project delays to the relevant manager. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area. Assist with general warehouse duties when required by the Warehouse Manager. Meet project deadlines and maintain good productivity. Follow company procedures, accept feedback, and take responsibility for assigned tasks. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong planning and organisational skills.
