Our client in the agriculture sector is seeking a hands-on Junior Warehouse Manager with strong organisational and problem-solving skills to oversee daily warehouse and operational functions.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Supervise warehouse and operational staff, including allocating duties, monitoring performance, attendance, and managing seasonal\/temporary staffing requirements Oversee the daily running of the warehouse, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock Maintain accurate stock control and conduct regular stock counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies Process customer orders accurately and coordinate weekly deliveries, ensuring orders are dispatched on time Operate and oversee forklift activities, including loading, unloading, daily checks, and maintenance requirements Coordinate vehicle, workshop, building, equipment, and general maintenance, including liaising with suppliers and service providers Manage the purchasing of operational supplies, including obtaining quotations and placing orders Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment Maintain accurate records relating to stock, staff, orders, deliveries, vehicles, and maintenance Assist with the opening and closing of the premises and oversee general operational requirements Identify operational issues and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating where necessary Requirements Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management Proven experience supervising and managing staff Strong stock control, order processing, and delivery coordination experience Valid driver's licence Forklift licence\/certificate and practical forklift experience would be advantageous Experience with vehicle, equipment, and general maintenance Good computer and administrative skills Strong organisational and communication skills Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
