Our client is looking for a Junior Test Analyst to join their Business Software Services team in Morningside, Sandton. Duties: Create test cases and test plans based on user requirements Perform functional, integration, system and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Identify, analyse and document software\/programming errors Verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved Communicate test results and findings to project stakeholders Assist with UAT and obtain user sign-off Support the preparation of training material and user manuals where required Work closely with users and internal teams to ensure quality solutions are delivered Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Relevant degree, diploma or IT\/software development qualification. ISTQB or related Test Analysis qualification would be advantageous Experience: 1-2 years' relevant testing experience Manual testing experience SQL experience Web API experience Knowledge of JSON Knowledge of SDLC Understanding of Boundary Analysis Exposure to test automation practices\/tools Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and work under pressure A proactive, persistent and team-oriented approach If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
