Junior SQL Database Web Developer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support SQL-driven web applications. Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database scripts. Provide application support and resolve system, database, and performance issues. Perform database maintenance, backups, security management, and data integrity checks. Assist with system upgrades, data migrations, testing, and new site implementations. Create reports and support operational teams with data-related queries. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and deliver system requirements. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. 3-5 years' experience in SQL/database development, web development, application support, or a related role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL . Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web APIs , and server-side development. Experience supporting database-driven web applications. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users. Advantageous Experience ERP, inventory, warehousing, stock control, or VMI/VMS systems. Multi-site application support environments. Software releases, upgrades, migrations, and system implementations. Reporting and advanced SQL reporting tools. Mining, logistics, industrial, warehousing, or site-based operational environments.
