Junior Merchandiser

• We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join an established fashion sourcing and product development business that works with leading retailers to deliver quality fashion products. The business offers a comprehensive service, from trend research and product design to sourcing, production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and merchandising of fashion ranges.
• Support the team with product sourcing, sample coordination and product development.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to follow up on samples, orders and production timelines.
• Assist with preparing costings, quotations, order sheets and product information.
• Monitor order progress to ensure products are delivered within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain accurate product records, spreadsheets and merchandising reports.
• Assist with tracking samples and ensuring products meet customer specifications.
• Work closely with the design, sourcing, production and quality control teams.
• Research fashion trends and competitor products to support range development.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the merchandising team.

Minimum Requirements

• A qualification in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Clothing Management or a related field would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in fashion and merchandising or similar
• A strong interest in fashion trends and product development.
• Good numerical, organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• The ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
