Junior IT Installer

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF4. 3 years of experience in an IT environment. Minimum 2 years exposure in IT Hardware, Network infrastructure, CCTV and Fibre installations. Valid RSA Driver's License with own transport. Responsibilities: Install, terminate and test CAT6, fibre cabling. Mount and connect devices such as cameras, Wi-Fi access points, switches and network cabinets. Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, devices, or system confiigurations. Pull, route, label and secure cables according to standards and site requirements. Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms. Maintain and recording of equipment and stock levels.
