Our client is a dynamic agile, revenue-generating manufacturing intelligence startup looking for a Junior to Intermediate Full-Stack Developer to build live AI dashboards and high-impact integrations.

POSITION INFO:
Backend focus : Although the role is genuinely full-stack, the majority of the development work will be focused on the backend as well as databases. Deployment to AWS. Level of Independence: You need to be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of work from start to finish. Where architectural input is required, the Fractional CTO will provide the roadmap and can assist with complex problem solving and provide technical guidance. However, you will needs to be someone who takes responsibility for delivering their work rather than requiring significant day-to-day direction. Experience required: 0 - 5 years' commercial development experience. A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field - (preferable) Build and ship features end-to-end across our React front end and NestJS back end. Model and manage time-series and relational data at scale (PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB), keeping queries and pipelines fast. Deploy and maintain services on AWS, with an eye on cost and uptime. Contribute to data and AI features - building on our AI/LLM layer to surface insight and automation for manufacturers. Support and mentor younger developers and help lift code quality and technical decisions. (depending on your level) Translate customer requirements into clean technical solutions, engaging directly with clients on site when required Bonus point required: Manufacturing, MES, IIoT or industrial-data domain exposure. Time-series or high-volume ingestion experience (TimescaleDB, streaming). Data visualisation / BI experience (e.g. Power BI, custom dashboards).
