Junior Graphic Designer
A company operating in the printing industry is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join its team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will assist with designing, adapting and preparing artwork for various printed and promotional materials. The role requires proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite, a strong eye for detail and the ability to ensure that all artwork meets the required branding and print production standards. Role based in Rivonia, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Essential: Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Previous graphic design experience, preferably within the printing or commercial print industry. Basic understanding of print production processes and print-ready artwork preparation. Strong visual, layout and typography skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A portfolio demonstrating graphic design ability, preferably including print-related work. A Graphic Design qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Roles and Responsibilities: Design and adapt artwork for brochures, flyers, packaging, promotional products and other printed materials. Prepare and format artwork files according to print production specifications. Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. Implement design amendments based on client feedback and internal reviews. Ensure consistency in branding, layouts, colours and typography across projects. Check artwork for errors and assist with resolving basic print-related design queries. Maintain organised digital design files, templates and creative resources. Manage multiple design assignments while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
